ARS POETICA

All development begins with self-awareness and taking individual responsibility. We have chosen our motto – The power of recognition – exactly because it expresses the fact that it is of paramount importance for the personal development process that the participant recognises that they are responsible for their own development and hold the key to it.

SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND

We believe that the starting point for individual well-being and happiness lies in our personal systems that serve us well, and that the basis for all of this is our habit systems and the values they reflect. The most effective way to shape individual systems is not to go against our own psychological and biological systems, but to work in harmony with them. The topics and methods of our trainings are therefore fundamentally based on research findings in behavioural and neuroscience.

METHODOLOGY

In our soft skills trainings we have always found that the attitudes to be developed can be most effectively shaped through personal experiences and insights. The essence of our method is that the participants of the workshops first look at their own patterns and experiences, then with the help of the trainer they reflect on them, incorporate new knowledge, and finally they practise and make a plan on how and where to best incorporate the new insights from the trainings into their daily lives.

Emphasis is also placed on tailoring the objectives set to the mentality and personal needs of the participants as much as possible. The programme is always part of a broader learning journey: the process includes preparatory tasks before the meeting, and then, between and after the training days, participants take the knowledge acquired to a new level with individualised tasks, supported by the trainer, to best facilitate their development.

Our colleagues

Móni Kakulya
head trainer

„As a teacher and trainer in general, EFL and corporate trainings, I have had the opportunity to follow countless individual development processes closely, and I am always touched by the look in the eyes of the person sitting across from me when they realise, “I am changing!” And from that moment on we are dealing with a miracle, because what has become clear to me is that if there is openness both to each other and to the changes that are taking place, the conditions for learning and development are already there. In all partnerships, I engage with love and interest with my solutions and suggestions, always with a view to manageability and efficiency.”

Szabolcs Sós
business development

“I believe in people and the possibility of change and transformation. I have been working with people and teams in corporate finance and related services for over 20 years. I started my career in the banking sector, later as a senior business developer for the largest domestic credit insurer, and moved from the service side to the consulting side in 2019. I have met decision makers and teams from more than 1000 large companies and gained insight into their organisational strengths and the recipes of their successes as well as their current challenges. I love and am good at working with people, I strive to do good in my environment and I bring my best to every group I am part of. I think in terms of solutions, not excuses, and I am determined to find opportunities in the face of difficulties.”

Nelli Szántó
running coach, ironman

“I competed in triathlon and road cycling for 12 years, and then I gave up competitive cycling when I started university, but the love of movement remained a part of my everyday life. I graduated from the University of Physical Education with degrees in Physical Education for Swimming and Triathlon Coaching as well as physicotherapy. I currently work as a running and personal trainer and as a member of the team of experts for Runner’s World magazine. I consider myself a very lucky person because I get to do what I love. I have a lot of respect for people who dare to step out of their comfort zone, and if I can help them do that, it’s a great feeling. I don’t think one sport or form of exercise is better than the other. I think it’s sport itself, the joy of movement that’s important, and the tools and training methods that are used to achieve that are really irrelevant.”www.runelli.hu

Tímea Hajdrák
photographer

“I see myself mostly as a photojournalist because I’m passionate about storytelling. I have tried to make my way in the world as an artist and a soul in constant search: I have worked for newspapers, organisations, I have been a member of the Hungarian Artists’ Association, I have photographed births, weddings and funerals. The world is what it is, but I’m convinced it’s very interesting. Photography is a tool to make the feelings that are born in me processable for myself.” Instagram
